Code Brisk Hackathon won by Virinchians

Thirteen renowned IT and Engineering colleges participated in this hackathon including our college. In first round, Presentation round only 3 colleges were selected for hackathon and were taken to Kuri village of Kalinchowk Rural Municipality in Dolahka district. Virinchi College emerged victorious and was awarded the trophy and cash prize of NPR. 100,000.00 for their "Tidy Town" IoT based project, that uses intelligent waste management with smart public bins, resulting in a feasible and realistic method of waste disposal in Kuri Village.

The solution developed by the Virinchi College team stood best while showcasing in terms of concept and technological aspect. It was developed with deep understanding of the actual problem faced at Kuri Village. This was the first hackathon to be organized in the highest altitude in Nepal so far.
